The audio launch of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film ‘Maan Karate’ witnessed huge crowds thronging at Sathyam Cinemas. The occasion witnessed Tamil film industry’s most leading personalities like Shankar, Prabhu Solomon, AR Murugadoss, Sukumr, Anirudh, Siva, Hansika Motwani, Ponram, Durai Senthil Kumar, Soori, KR, Deva and many others.
Sivakarthikeyan as usual brought about the humourous spell with his talks as he said, “There was a certain thing that really left me in huge doubt if I would do complete justice to this script. The first thing was I should appear in jeans and spike looks without Lungis. Director Thirukumaran was incisively keen about it and finally accomplished with it.”
Adding more about his co-star Haniska Motwani, Siva further uttered, “I must really speak about Hansika here. She accepted to take up this offer much prior to my three films had released. By that time, I was just a newcomer, but she accepted to be a part of this project. I am so thankful to cinematographer Sukumar for making me look fair and colourful with his works. In fact, Hansika Motwani was so fair that I would look so much diminished beside her. But the crew of fashion designers and cinematographer helped in enhancing my looks.”
Furthermore, he added more on Anirudh saying, “He is such a hard working person and at times wakes me up around 4 am in the morning to listen to his new composition.”
Director Shankar, the chief guest of this event said, “I am a huge fan of Anirudh and couldn’t resist listening to his songs from ‘Moonu’ and ‘Vanakkam Chennai’. To be frank, I earnestly wanted to get a copy of Vellaiyilla Pattadhaari on the first day of release, but it was sold out and only after three days managed to get it from the audio company.
Shankar released the album and it was received by music director Deva who has crooned a track in this album.
Maan Karate is produced by Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Picture in collaboration with AR Murugadoss Productions and is scheduled for release on March 4.
