Inimey Ippadithaan Movie Review

Santhanam has been dashingly choosing the best conventionally themed stories that maintain his balance for his witty quotients and prove his prowess in performance as well. This was one good reason behind the grand success of ‘Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham’. Now that he comes with his second movie in lead role titled ‘Inimey Ippadithaan’, he has touched something different in an entertaining manner. The film is directed by filmmakers duo Muruganand and is produced by Santhanam’s home banner of Handmade Films.

Broken down in life for not finding a proper match as his life partner, Santhanam is stuck between two options – one is an arranged marriage and other one as love one. His friends advice him that arranged marriage doesn’t get a dream girl or boy. So he decides to fall in love with a girl and marry and in fact comes across such a beautiful girl (Ashna Zaveri). Meanwhile, his parents find a beautiful girl through marriage (Akhila Kishore). Now due to some confusions created by Santhanam’s uncle (Thambi Ramaiah), things turn perplexed for Santhanam and how is he going to make the choice forms crux of the story.

Santhanam has developed special skills in enacting the show with some best appeal. The actor has turned up with some specialties in dance and performance. His dialogue deliveries are really enjoyable and keep evoking the right kind of comedy. Thanks to his team of writers who have delivered some lines that reminiscence of ‘Lollu Sabha’ days. Ashna Zaveri looks slimmer and beautiful than before in her first film ‘Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham’. Akhila Kishore might not get the prominence as in her debut film ‘Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam’, but she looks gorgeous and simply beautiful. VTV Ganesh tries to evoke laughter through his usual style. Aadukalam Narain, Thambi Ramaiah and others in the cast have their equal prominence.

Musical score by Santhosh is good, but the second half loaded with so much of songs could have been avoided. Cinematography is good well.

The final twist in the climax of who Santhanam marries without his very own knowledge is a moment of astonishment and emotions with fun at end….

Verdict: Mindless entertainer with fun-filled drama
